Semi, I don't see Intel using dual core chips on the desktop any time soon. They will probably hit the server market first, since the die size cost for a dual core chip makes the costs unreasonable for markets not receiving premium margins. This should remain true for at least the next couple process generations, until silicon real estate becomes so vast that multiple cores actually make sense.
