KruseCom Announces Profitable Take-Out of Large Sharks
PALM BEACH, FL-August 18, 2010-KruseCom, LLC, the company that Buys, Sells, and Maintains Enterprise IT, today announced completion of a data array take-out project for a midwestern manufacture of heavy equipment. The equipment removed consisted of multiple IBM TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Servers Model 800, more commonly called Sharks. KruseCom’s Remarketing Revenue Share Program enables organizations to safely recover the value of their used Information Technology assets. KruseCom’s multiple outbound sales channels enable the company to capture maximum value of the customer’s used assets.
Hank Laws, Vice President of KruseCom, commented, “We’ve actually created a bit of a niche expertise in remarketing IBM Sharks. Each ESS Enclosure is almost 6 feet tall, holds up to 256 Hard Drives, and weighs hundreds of pounds. Most people pay to have someone take these away for scrap at the end-of-lifecycle. However, KruseCom has developed a secondary market in these units, and we were proud to be able to return capital to the equipment manufacturer in this case.”
