BMR through it's affiliated persons and affiliated companies has a pay for placement strategy - it's impossible to have "real" research when some company is paying for it, for the purpose of juicing the stock price via misleading and overly optimitic research.

Just because the author may not be getting paid directly from said company - but some LLC is and then paying out $%$$ to individuals for whatever they would like to call the end result is $$$ is paid for positive coverage and then someone or some entity recieves money either directly or indirectly for said coverage.
