I see open interest at 14,731 entering today (both on the CBOE site and on yahoo). Over 138K traded today, so I don't see how they can be closing positions.

Apparently, there's some method of capturing the dividend via the calls and also executing the calls to get profit. Somewhere around these parts or SI there's an article that explains it. Seemed like a lot of work!

Anyway, I'll check the open interest tomorrow....
