Hmmm. I don't think being "all in" is ever smart. Suggests a less than useful control over emotions, perhaps...
But, I bought as many as I could get earlier today, when shares were "on sale"... but, don't mind buying when others "panic"... or try to foster others into panic...
I trust my own effort in DD way, way, WAY more than charts... which others can and will use to try to convince you that the facts don't matter... ? LOL!!!
I'm sure most novice traders have been there before... and got run out of a position they held that they regret having been buffaloed out of... even knowing it was stupid when they did it...
I DO recognize that pattern I see in the trading here... and don't find it inconsistent with "shorts"... but, it could be any of those other things discussed here today, too... not a one of which changes what is in the rocks...
I'll bet on the rocks.
Hard to be detached with money at risk... but, you probably don't turn the corner in your trading until you DO get a handle on emotions... paying more attention to what the moves you see mean in others emotions than you do to thinking about your $$$ ?
If you don't get that control over yourself... it is often not possible to buy low... and you might as well ask the same question about why some here maybe weren't buying low last week, or the week before that ?
