Hweb: Strategy:
I think that is the most comprehensive discussion I remember you having on your strategy. It can be determined by reading your posts, but nice summary. Obviously, we have some differences - mostly due to my intention of holding a stock until it either doubles or 1 year goes by, but like most of us on the board, we look for similar things.
The one thing that jumped out at me was the omission of any consideration at all of what the STOCK has done - only what the COMPANY has done. I base my desire to buy a stock almost completely on the same things as you - the company. But I base my actual buying decision on what that "desireable" STOCK has done. I'm curious, if a stock was up 300% in a month, but had the same fundamentals as a stock that was up 0% in a month, would it make any difference to you? And, I'm not saying there is a right or wrong answer for you. Who am I? I'm just curious.
