But thankfully, the founding fathers wrote the Constitution to be a fully secular set of legislative principles, so there's nothing to fear from the Iman or from Sarah.
Which brings me to the fundamental question: why should the Iman's religious beliefs cause people to want to prevent him from building a place of worship ON PROPERTY THAT HE OWNS?

Only if you can show me that the Iman is part of the crowd casting the stones. I understand why people are disgusted by some of the practices of Middle Eastern Islamic extremists. I am disgusted by the practices of Middle Eastern Islamic extremists.
But you would be as guilty as they are if you are going to assume that every Muslim person is going to behave in the same way that the extremists do, and treat them differently because you think so.
