are you serious? I was born in eastern europe and its not a stereotype. russians are inefficient and always have been. why do you think communism failed..because of corruption and one way of thinking...and the inability of free market...russia is still wrapped in that time and most people have no clue how to cope in free market...it will take them a long time to adjust or as russian history shows it will never happen.

putin is a corrupted as you can get, he will not allow free market...exacly my point with regard to lukoil and gazporm pure corruption and God only knows if these guys make any money..as the accounting system in russia goes back to counting the beans...

bottom line every gov't is inefficent...its an inherent risk
