Hi Zeev: I've often wondered about gaps from years past, both on the up and down side. Surely there are buyers or sellers who still have the stock and have long memories; but enough of 'em with enough stock to have a powerful impact? I have my doubts. I think you pull up a chart, see a gap from years ago and say, "That's where plenty of buying will likely come in." So they buy and lo and behold that old gap holds or gets filled. I'm still perplexed. It's my sense that the shorter the time frame, the greater the likelihood that gaps are significant.
