I really thought the market turned after the 2nd quarter conference.

Really don't understand your argument at all. Look at price and volume action since approval, on Aug 2 (earning conference call in the morning), the stock closed higher than previous two days. The market turned on Aug 5 after Berstein analyst note became public.
