And 25k bid at 2.10.
The problem is that the last financials show no cash and 4-5 million in debt, and since then they have announced the sale of 'substantially all assets'. They haven't, to my knowledge, said how much cash they have. Book value was 2.85 a share recently, but they could have sold the assets for much less or much more than that. The company is liquidating, and the empty shell is folding into the parent after the parent becomes the sole shareholder.
The unenlightened shareholder is going to get screwed, either by selling his shares much too low now, or by getting nothing but $1.32 for them when the company is dissolved. Only those who know how much money the company has are in a position to know which way gets you screwed.
A good trade might be to buy at $2 and sell premarket on ex-dividend day, but there's no guarantee it will be trading above 0.70 then. Another good trade might be to bid 0.50 on ex-div, assuming everybody else wants to sell then. Your 0.50 might become a couple of bucks, or it might become nothing.
