and not only haven't I missed but I have definitively and correctly answered as quite simply irrelevant your point re "the same poll was taken of actual voters in a real initiative and they passed the ban" -- fundamental rights guaranteed by the U.S. constitution are not subject to being taken away or denied by legislative action or by popular vote -- not yours, not mine, not homosexuals' -- period -- that's how it is and always has been under the U.S. constitution, the supreme law of the land -- like it or not, that's the end of your point -- which I've chosen to answer not to get under your skin, but because I have a particular interest, and a particular background, in such matters
