I agree Elmer, but the bravado coming from the FTC chairman doesn't match the relative lightness of the "concession."

So Intel now has to say exactly how their compiler doesn't do everything it could for non-Intel CPUs. Whoop-dee-doo. Anyone who thought that the Intel compiler had to optimize for non-Intel CPUs is a complete idiot. Pure and simple.
