Dew, the compiler complaint was the most ridiculous, overblown, and distorted part of the antitrust lawsuits.

Intel should be under no obligation to optimize their compiler for their competitors. Yet here is the FTC Chairman, making ridiculous accusations in the media that he doesn't have to prove in a court of law, and pretending that the consumer is the winner of his nonsense.

I think if this guy had the authority and the legal basis to fine Intel one billion euros, he would have.
