If TEVA gets approal, this is a great blow to MNTA's 'proprietry' platform

At least as it applies to lovenox. Teva approval would mean that either teva has similar capability OR that the FDA isn't being so rigid in the approval to require the extra characterization MNTA's platform affords.

It's possible that lovenox isn't sufficiently complex to require the use of that platform, but other drugs might be (Copaxone?). There is something to be said for MNTA being approved first, depending on what's holding up TEVA.

To the extent that TEVA approval signals an FDA more willing to approve generics of complex molecules, it may mean a more likely M356 approval.

Only time will tell, but today the street isn't willing to give MNTA the benefit of any doubt.
