Try to keep things in perspective. What ever the reasoning Intel has agreed to settle with a 10 million dollar software fund. That's million, not billion. The finalization of this matter will increase Intel sales.

It will take Intel, what, 4 hours of sales to recoup the penalty?

It's over, done, fine, doomed to the dust bin of Computer history. Intel is up 5 cents in pre market. That's 275 Million in capitalization. That should also help cover the 10 million, adequately.

Sometimes when you are arguing with a 7 year old, at some point, you just say, "go to your room, this discussion is over".

Assuming, of course, the FTC doesn't read this thread and not approve the settlement. :)
