Presenting at peer reviewed conferences is considered publishing. Such presentations are included in the published proceedings that are sent to attendees, interested parties, and libraries to add to holdings and data bases. NNVC has presented to 3 such conferences on HIV, pandemic threats and influenza. A fourth and most recent report regarding Ebola was published as part of conference proceedings.

For at least 7 conferences, Diwan or Seymour had to submit abstracts for approval from a committee of peers. These also are accepted as peer review of what was presented. Dr. Eva Harris met Dr. Diwan at a peer reviewed conference in Genieva following his presentation.
