Not right now, no. In my opinion it's not meant (or destined) to serve as the sole treatment in an acute setting.
But this procedure is actually something I've started to study, and it is surprisingly effective. The effects are systemic (not so much local) and, in my own view, a very useful method to reveal protective pathways.
The current problem is that it is hard to get over the perception that you're not doing *much* and therefore it comes off gimmicky.
