I'd like to mention one thing, simply for clarification: You said (regarding the significance of what inmates say), "... it sure seems counterproductive when (the) folks first arrive. This is generally when the venom is still spewing and when emotions, rather than calm reflection, are both raw and at a peak."

I absolutely agree with you. That's why I said, "... In other words, they can cuss and stomp and fume all they want in jail. None of it means a thing (text omitted). The only thing that means anything in terms of getting a release is ..." and go on to list the criteria.

IHub is getting lots of plaudits for its handling of offensive posters. The rational way you comment on the process helps draw out the elements for all to see.
