isn't simplicity the most complex proposal in the universe?

You know, I've thought about that before. What if our Universe was very simple and orderly and easy to understand and manipulate. Would we be challenged enough to have ever evolved to our current state, or would we already be playing god by zipping around the Universe at hyper-light speed, moving planets and adjusting stars for our convenience. Or, would we have enough respect for the cosmos to leave it alone and enjoy it's original beauty. Maybe, our universe was a very simple place billions of years ago, and another race of beings screwed it all up and made things more difficult for the conscious beings that have came since, including us.

On a more planetary level, Human ego and selfishness have more to do with Humanity's current state of disorder than our Natural World. That brings us back to the control freak thing and the question of why the people in control design a human environment that benefits the wealthiest 1% worldwide at the cost of the standard of living of the bottom 90%, with most Americans being in that 91% to 99% range, allowed the resources to serve the 1%. It would be simple to design a complex society that benefitted the majority, but would it work? I guess that is what the communists were aiming for. And, communism was based on the people owning the means of production, so isn't the whole stock market concept really a communist plot? Nothing is really simple when you start breaking it down into it's individual components.
