Do you really think that they let the guy anywhere near that shiny little red button? Seriously though, I think that the NSC has control of that button now, and the Pres. is just there to take responsibility for the mess that a couple o' few megatons of equivilant TNT nuclear bombing might do to, oh let's say...Bahgdad.
