People keep talking about the preferred selling shares...Do we have any proof of this? God knows, given the dividend coupon on those shares, they are stupid to convert and sell. They could get a better price by selling the preferred privately to someone else.

Anyone who owns preferred shares, want to sell some to me?!? Being paid to wait for share-price appreciation seems like a good deal to me.
