China will dictate the fate of our world in the coming century. It is strange how little attention is paid to China in our media...beyond the scandals.

I think you might be on to something. I had a high-school history professor who always said that what this world needs is a good land war. With the advent of nuclear weapons and mutually assured destruction, there just isn’t a good enough way to fight overpopulation.

I can't get enough of it, and would like more. But, you know my stipulation...environment first. If we don't have a place to live, as in a healthy biosphere, then freedom will be impossible.

I see your point and I wish I could agree with you. It just seems to me that the majority of people that say they support the environment are the same people who are anti-freedom. Obviously no one wants to destroy the earth, but some try to use the issue of saving the environment to justify socialism. If I knew that there were more freedom lovers like you on that side of the issue, I would be more inclined to sign up. But I definitely think that businesses and individuals should be held accountable for any damage they do to the environment.
