Hey Whitelake,

It probably seems like it was Wednesday but it was only last Thursday. So you lost power at 9:30. The eye should have gone over you about 11:30ish. Did it? It looked like most of the wind and rain was to the northeast and east of the center. Do you know if there was more damage to the east of you? What was the storm surge like in the bay? It was moving fast so it should have been all over by 6ish or so. Even the rain looked like it had stopped by then. Did you get any flooding? It sounds like most of the damage was tree damage.

If it hadn't been moving so fast, I figure if it had been delayed at least 2 hours it wouldn't have even been a catergory 2 when it hit. If you read the reports on the NHC site, the experts were totally baffled. They don't understand what happened.

So did your boat make it? Our maybe you only said you were a fisherman? I don't remember. Glad you made it ok. Wish we could say the same about the markets. You certainly didn't miss anything.
