True, lots of misrepresentation from lots of people about any other cultures.
Got my share of this too: I'm originally from Paris, France (grew up in 19th district, predominantly "north African", born in 13th district a.k.a.: "China Town"). Mother White (Normandy), father Black (Martinique). So, a bit seasoned in seeing and living in mixed cultures (For instance, at the time, there were more Portugueses living in Paris than in Portugal's own capital, lisbon).
Currently in Durango, CO - Not an international town, but definitely open minded a curious about other non-traditional ways.
" ... i'm tatkata of the north ..." - Looked it up. Could not find it. Where is this located exactly? Just curious.
