I think elution is the way to go with Macugen. I'm not sure it would be effective with TrpRS. Where is the receptor for TrpRS? If it's intracellular, then bathing tissue in the protein probably won't be effecteve. In this case a gene-therapy approach would be better (using particle- or viral-based delivery of DNA endoding the TrpRS fragment to the target tissue).
