Perhaps you need to unleash your DD as to what is an appropriate charge for a complete SaaS solution in which software upgrades, monitoring, backup, support and diminished cost of ownership because of reduced capital requirements for hardware is included in the monthly cost. You are including hardware cost in your solution, yes?
In what I've seen, the hardware cost alone made the switch justified for new deployments. Some companies require expensive maintenance contracts as well. Of course you would know this if you actually looked up the TRUE cost of a POS solution...
