Postal, where did he obtain the 8 million from? If he sold QASP shares and put the proceeds in his bank account and then in turn gave it back to QASP - that is hardly risking his own money. I am not saying that has happened, but its a 'trick' that is often played in pennyland and it could be the situation here.
