Ah yes, well less than 10% of that makes it to the surface. And what we do get has certain wavelengths attenuated. (So much so that doctors prescribe sun therapy at the Dead Sea due to its super-low elevation which attenuates certain wavelengths.

I am a huge fan of the idea of using a parabolic reflector to focus on the evaporator coils of this device. I figure a 5' dish would work. Currently, you can get a 3' one on eBay for $300. The only issue us sizing the machine appropriately. (I think you'd want it to be smaller. )
