I've only used my phone for entering/exiting a trade once in awhile. It isn't something I do regularly. I've used a stylus when doing so since it is a bit more accurate than my finger. ;)

Dell told me that my delayed laptop has been shipped. I'm going to keep it afterall instead of canceling the order. As a full time day trader I'll need it when I travel. I don't think the ipad will be a good substitute for what I do. Otherwise, I would have preferred it over the laptop.

After viewing the ipad while considering a purchase I've decided it will be a great Christmas present for some relatives of mine.

I'm not an experienced trader, but here's my take on using the iPad for trading: I'm not going to do it.

As soon as I got my iPad, I went to Ameritrade and opened a trading window. When I set up an order and went to the review page, I immediately got out of there. I was not comfortable reviewing the order knowing that an inadvertent touch on the screen could enter the order.

I don't think touch screen is a safe way for me to trade.

I want to use a two step process (cursor + click) to enter the order. I don't want a random touch to be able to do that.

Are you using a touch interface on your phone for trading?
