while it's true that lack of followthrough by POSC brings the stock down, you forget so easily that buying at the bid also brings the stock down.
of course, we all want to pay the least possible for as many shares as possible, but it makes a huge difference.
for instance, for one person to buy let's say at the bid of .05 instead of at the ask of .051, they are getting around 400 more shares with every $1000 spent. big deal. however, they are dropping the PPS by buying at the bid, meaning everyone else that buys in the future is paying less as well. if the first person slaps the ask at .051, they get 19,607 shares instead of 20,000, but the ask potential raises to .052, as well as the PPS, meaning the buys in the future are now more than they would have been, further increasing the PPS.
we all know and believe news is coming, but this isn't going to just go to some predetermined PPS once the news hits; it's going to say go up 3 times of where it's at. if the buys keeping coming through at the bid and keep lowering the PPS, some of you who are at an average of 0.15 or more might still not be even when the partnership is announced. bid-whacking is the absolute worst thing you can do to a stock. i'd rather have bid-whackers sell their entire position before bid-whacking.
