For today it isn't China's "numbers" that scare anyone, it's the rate at which their economy is growing. What makes it worse is that their growth isn't the result of capital but more from a result in productivity.
In 20 years their economy will tower over ours. Keep in mind it was only 25 years ago that 9 out of every 10 chinese workers was a farmer. Today that number is closer to 4 out of 10.
