Visteon spokesman Jim Fisher said the ruling only applies to about 2,100 hourly employees from two closed Indiana plants.

The Van Buren Township-based company has about 8,000 retirees, and their benefits represent a liability of about $310 million, which translates into an annual cost of about $30 million.
