My comments would be.

- Who says they could have raised money at $4? Deals get leaked and discounted. Maybe your $4 really was $3.50.

- A pivotal study probably costs more than you think.

- I'm sure it's worth more after a trial but how much more?

Odds may look good but nothing is guaranteed to be successful. They'd be running a big risk waiting until after the pivotal data.

For the record the ex US market is worth 2X the US. So keeping the US isn't all that big of a deal.
