I'm not looking to save a cent or two. I just won't have funds available until the 15th. But all I've been reading here since they made the announcement is that it's a dividend...it's not a dividend...it's a dividend...it's not a dividend ... one guys broker says buy by the 13th...another guys says by the 16th ok....??? Is there ANY way to get KATX to post a clearer PR to investors like me that are still up in the air whether we can buy after the 13th or not and still be qualified?
I understand the PR states it's a 'share distribution' and that those don't fall under the 3 day settlement requirement, but I don't understand the confusion on the board about this just one day before the possible last day to buy in. Since I still don't definitely know I probably won't risk buying any more after the 13th if I won't get the freebies.
