I'm going to back Mur on this. I'm also not going to paint it all rosy, as I don't know for sure what is happening. However, Kels, your guess is based on the lack of info, past PRs, etc. But it is still a guess based on other data points you have. Same with me. You may be right about the eventual outcome here, but at this point I would not bet on it as it is really just a guess.

Other data points, which you seem to completely dismiss, show that something is in the works and may have already been done. Mur's point about KAA not even being in charge anymore may be spot on. We don't know, but it is just as likely as your claims of him 'running scared' or whatever. Recent information on other companies reports lead me to believe that Hemi may have already been acquired, likely entirely as the FTW leases in and of themselves hold no real interest for this larger O&G company.

If this is the case, then it may be entirely up to this other company to PR this and NOT Keiths. Keith may not even be in a position to put out a PR....literally. If this is the case, than the shares still held WILL have value at some point when any transaction is made. Or, if Hemi just becomes a working branch of the company, hmgp will again have some ooomph behind it. Either of these scenarios is a win for longs or others who still hold shares.

It is likely that this is going down just like you would have thought it would a few years ago, but the only difference is the unanticipated silence.

Bottom line (returning to Murs post) is you/me/we need a lot more information before taking such strong positions on the subject.
