Ate at Morton's in Hackensack this past Friday night. I thought of you. And here you are!

Funny, I was thinking maybe it's worth a short too. The place was EMPTY and on a Friday night???? We went at 9:30pm which is kind of late for dinner, but there should have been a wait like there was at Cheesecake Factory around the corner. There was maybe 3-5 other tables I'm guessing from memory with bodies in them. If Hackensack, NJ is an accurate reflection of Morton's nationwide, then they are screwed.

Two interesting tidbits for me was that the quality of the food seemed to go way down vs. previous experiences. And when I asked how the waiter was doing he said "just happy to still be employed" which I found a bit bizarre and possibly foreshadowing. That said, analysts expect continued growth and growing earnings, but maybe they have it wrong.
