Castboy, i know it feels painful buying up that high. I ran the numbers in case you're interested:
--buying 2000 more shares at $3 ("only" $6k after the $44k you've invested) would put you in for total of $50k worth of shares at avg price of $6.67.
--buying 3000 more shares at $3 gives you an avg buy-price of $6.23. I bet sometime by early 2011 you'd get a double return on that avg.
Also, if you're in a taxable account with your original shares, you could at some point before Dec. 31 sell for some tax-deductible losses if CNAM's price isn't above $8 by that point.
