What animals do you have at home?
My dogs refuse to go into the garage (where they have a second bed) even though it is pouring:they INSIST I will eventually allow them in (sometimes yes, sometimes no but I certainly can't when I'm not home and one of them STILL stands at the door to be let in then!)
Of course the house is warmer than the garage but that's pretty stubborn.
