I was trained as a scientist (marine biology/ecology and scanning electron microscopy/elemental analysis). In 1982 I became self-employed and have been successfully since. My point is that being a scientist does not preclude being good in business. In my view, a good scientist would more often than not make a good CEO as long as that business is in his/her field.
If I were CEO of Cortex I would do the same thing as both Stoll and Varney and answer the emails from contributors to this board. Why? I deeply appreciate the extraordinary input of all the MDs, Neuro, ememem and other knowledgeable contributors. It would not surprise me that some of the input on this board has actually influenced management decisions. I would certainly want to keep that input going by responding to our emails. This means that management IS reading the iHub Cortex message board.
