Fred (no, scu, this post isn't really to you though it's in response to your post -- figured I'd better make that clear this time), weighing in as just another voter and someone who's been on the receiving end of his hostile posts, scu's post to which I'm replying works for me. Especially if he can take some time to read the rules, understand that he wasn't the only person in that battle who was incarcerated for it, and understand that all people who use the site are automatically "warned" by dint of having read our Terms of Service, and "warnings" past that aren't considered necessary.

I'd feel even more warm and fuzzy, though, if I felt like he really understands that a negative opinion about a company isn't grounds for post deletion. I'd really hate to see him re-jailed over something like that.
