Culmus, it is beyond amazing what some huge , cash rich players will get hoodwinked into buying. IE:
(and this one is close to home)...

A small group of generic drug experts I know , started a small , new generic mfg co some 20 yrs ago or so. They got some NDAs, had more pending, but all in all nothing impressive. They sold out to Amer Home Products and made multi millions for all the partners. Well, not long down the road, AHP realized they got little for their (? $80mil) , as well a little fudging done by the sellers it appears, because when they threatened lawsuit, there was some real fear.

Finally, they just dropped it.... and the new multi millionares live happily ever after
