I know this post is several hundred behind but I wanted to thank you for actually making an intelligent point, and not believing that exclamation points somehow give your argument depth or validity. The points you brought up actually give me good reason to think the concept is a lot more marketable in Canada.
I was thinking last night that i haven't had to dial 411 in forever because of having a smart phone, but I believe there are at least a few free information numbers in the U.S and cell carriers that may even provide free 411. I know the concept is different than direct connect but then a again my biggest point is that at least for me; most of the time, i do care about what business i am calling and don't just want random companies except in a few instances like a taxi service. Thanks for not being super emotional about the boards, it's nice to hear clear rational reasons why i may or may not want to invest in this company. I generally don't trust people's advice that are too emotional about the subject. Please feel free to bring up anymore points, i am genuinely grateful that you were able to educate me on some of the differences between how cell service varies by country or region. One difference i know is that in many other countries consumers pay closer to retail for their phones but buy the phone first and then pick the service.

Hears something that just occurred to me as well, isn't this pretty much like vanity numbers. You know, like 800 flowers or 800 pickups. Faster and direct to the business you chose.
