Colt - You saw "one" clay break? Hey, I usually break one or two just shuffling the box from the truck to the trap! I can't blame you though ... Some of those gals can just do things to a pair of jeans that you don't een think about till you see it with your own eyes!

Had a fair day on the lake today. Caught about 12 or so ... all little, but hey, I didn't get skunked! The sun was shining, the temps were agreeable (both water temp and air temp), a slight breeze, and lots of water to play in! What more does one need? fish are just the bonus on a day like today!

I guess you are still involved in dove season. I didn't hunt this year - just not enough time to get a good spot picked out with all the moving, etc. Leave a few of them doves to fly back up this way and re-populate us for next year, OK?

Won't be long until dear ..... er deer .. season. (don't tell my wife I said that !) Bow season starts here 1 October. Same for you, I guess. Firearm season is the second Saturday in November. I will hunt then, I think. Bow hunting requires a lot of scouting, and prep work, again, no time. There ought to be a law against workign, you know?
