i listened to the webcast and was not enheartened. neither was anyone else. as augie says san suckers must die. on the other hand three years from now, when sans are selling in syria, maybe the market will be better. I see recessions when the previous technology was too good and I see expansions when the previous technology was not quite good enough.

and with everything getting smaller lighter less power hungry and faster and with more capacity, it makes me realize that GM's planned obsolescence of the 50's and 60's was a reasonable way to go. how can dell sell a 2 gig p4 for 500 bucks?
