Insurance companies should be easier to get as a customer as a lot of people forget the insurance cards or so confused they can't remember what to do. Yet if they have a cell phone they most likely remember who they have insurance with. I would hope at least locally a few insurance companies could see the benefits, and even nationally as the cost to them is first written off and second a easy way to get contact with their client immediately and maybe even get a adjuster on the scened before everything gets disturbed.

What if you was in Walla Walla Washington, and you lived in Florida and you had a wreck at 5:00 P.M. Walla Walla, Washington time and you text your insurance carrier and they in turn had a Walla Walla, Washington adjuster on the scene in30 minutes or less? Might save that insurance more money than they would invest over 10 years as they would be able to get first hand view and maybe even statements before people had a chance to think about how they could beat the insurance company out of money. Sounds like its worth the investment to me.
