People who've put there own $ on the line are 'stock scalpers'?
What exactly is a 'stock scalper'? My impression, from your writing, is that, that is some sort of derogatory term? Why do you castigate whomever you are referring to?
If I 'had', possessed a company of any worth, $10 or $10Bil, I wouldn't allow it to be taken over by anyone, period. I'd choose who ran it. Whether that be myself or others. That is the 1st confusion in your thinking: if you had something, someone would take it over.
Because the BOD/SM have name tags and big offices does not mean they know how to run anything. How did this company get here in the 1st place? With cash of more than a third of their debt in the bank and tons of cash comin' in the door, how come these guys weren't out of BK before this? Seems anyone with more sense and less greed could have been out of BK in March, or April. Why let unsmart greedy people get the company?
