FinancialAdvisor-- I have been reading the various posts from both sides in your debate with BasserDan with some interest. You have made some good points, but I do have one question for you. Would you explain what you were looking at in your post of 11/16/2004 #msg-4580729 when you said the next leg up for HMY appears imminent, technically.
I am looking at a daily for HMY and see the following as of 11/16/2004: At that point HMY was well below its 200 day DMA, and the 50 DMA was nowhere in sight and there were no signs of any letup in HMY's precipitous drop; down volume was enormous; MACD was ugly and getting worse; RSI was terrible, and getting worse; Money flow was about as bad as it could get. Since 11/16/04, HMY has lost as much as 23% of its total value (and almost 40% since 8 august 04) and would have inflicted very bad pain on any serious buyer at 11/16/04 and looks as if it might inhabit these lower regions of its price chart for many moons.
May I ask, what technicals were you referring to in making your very positive assessment of this badly broken stock?
