I won't speak to Dan's ability (or lack thereof) to pick winning gold stocks, but IMO one cannot accurately assess his performance through the comparison you make between the current price of his chosen stocks and the price on the date he called them (2/26/04), since gold is currently in the doldrums and the result might have been quite different if gold were now at its highs.

Perhaps a comparison of the performance of his choices with the performance of other gold stocks for the same period would yield a more valid result. JMO
