An interesting time, no doubt. JFK was a great speaker, very good looking, and had what appeared to be a storybook marriage.

We eventually learned JFK was human, and had faults. Years ago the press treated pols (especially presidents) differently, and would not report much of what they all knew. Since Woodward&Bernstein's success in exposing Richard Nixon, many reporters want to break a big news story and now go after every lead they hear.
